EXPERTS BY EXPERIENCE … It's the Experience that Makes the Difference
We have an outstanding program planned for you at the ISBD and ISAD joint Amsterdam meeting, which will continue the new "Experts by Experience" track initiated in 2015, bringing together those who are experts both by professional and lived experience and creating a personalized experience for these delegates that is blended seamlessly with the academic sessions of the conference. In order to make this the best experience possible for our audience, ISBD and ISAD, under the auspices of our Local European Organizing Committee, have partnered with the following recognized organizations in mood disorders support and advocacy: The Dutch Association for Bipolar Disorder and Relatives (VMDB), the Dutch Depression Alliance (Depressie Vereniging).  The program we are developing represents the collective wisdom of many of the leading organizations in bipolar and unipolar disorder and is the first of its kind for a conference on mood disorders, challenging mood.   The Experts by Experience track will include the following presentations:

1. Experts by Experience: a long way to go
2. Nutritional Psychiatry: The gut microbiome and dietary mismatch in the eitiology and treatment of mood disorders
3. Bipolar Disorder, Pregnancy and Childbirth – Living with uncertainty
4. Patient's Perspective on Self-Management: Management of depression: What works?
5. Suicide Prevention

Participants can also follow the full congress, as well as the advocacy day on July 16th, 2016  by clicking on the Interactive Program link under Scientific Program.
