SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS


Abstracts must be submitted through the Conference website.
Please follow the instructions on the abstract submission form step-by-step.

  • Submission of an abstract acknowledges your acceptance for the abstract to be published in the official conference publications.
  • Upon submitting your abstract via the Conference website, you will receive an "Abstract Submission Receipt notification" indicating that your abstract has successfully been submitted.
  • ​Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract.​
  • Please note that no tables and figures will appear in the Journal proceedings -only text.
  • Please note that affiliations will appear in the J​ournal exactly the way they are received when the abstract is submitted.​

RULES FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS


1. Please read rules carefully before submitting
2. Abstracts must be submitted via this website. Faxed or emailed abstracts will not be considered.
3. The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
4. The presenting author must be listed as the first author.​
5. All abstracts should be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication. If you need help, please arrange for the review of your abstract by a colleague who is a native English speaker, by a university specific publications office (or other similar facility) or by a copy editor, prior to submission.
8. Please submit symbols as words.​
9.​ No changes can be made to abstracts once they are final submitted. You are welcome to bring an updated poster to the conference.​​
10. Only an author or co-author listed on the abstract may present the abstract.


ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES & INSTRUCTIONS

Method of Submission: Abstracts may only be submitted online, via the ISBD-ISAD 2016​ Website.

Language and Length: Abstracts must be submitted in English and cannot be more than 2​50 words.

Notification of Acceptance: Authors will receive confirmation of accepted abstracts by April, 2016. Following notification of acceptance, the presenting author must register for the Conference by The Early Registration Deadline​; abstracts can only be presented on receipt of the registration fee. Authors may register on the Conference Website. 

Confirmation of Submission: After you submit your abstract, you will receive a confirmation email containing the title of your abstract. You can re-enter the submission link at any time to view your abstract.

Presentation Format: Authors can submit abstracts preferences for oral or poster presentation but the scientific committee retains the final decision to choose the presentation format. Accepted abstracts will be published in the Bipolar Disorders Journal and as an online Abstract Supplement to the ISBD Conference.

Abstract topic: Submissions are welcome in all topics related to Bipolar Disorders. Please choose the topic miscellaneous if you do not see a relevant keyword in the drop down menu list.

Abstract title - limited to 25 words in UPPER CASE

Body text: Abstracts should clearly state: Aims, Methods, Results and Conclusions. No figures or tables are to be included in the abstract. We recommend using word-processing software (for example, Word) for editing your abstract and counting the number of words. 2​50 word limit

Draft abstracts: The submission form allows you to store your abstract as a draft in order to make changes. Please note that abstracts must be SUBMITTED before the deadline in order to be sent to review for inclusion in the Scientific Program.

All abstract should be submitted in English no later than Midnight CET on February 22, 2016.
